Pakistan Army has distributed over 9 million cooked food packets among the flood affected people across the country. Pakistan Army Engineers have plugged the breaches on Ghouspur Bund in Sindh and opened the road Dera Allah Yar-Usta Muhammad for normal traffic.
Around 27000 flood affected people have returned to their homes from relief camps at Balochistan to Sindh. Over 50 percent population has returned to their homes in Sajawal in Sindh.
Army has dispatched three C-130 carrying relief goods (dry ration, clothes, drinking water and medicines) from Gujranwala to Quetta for flood affected people of Balochistan.
Army has delivered 7000 dry ration packets (30 to 40 kgs each) to Dera Murad Jamali from Quetta.
It is worth mentioning here that Army Relief Camps at Gujranwala and Lahore have dispatched 600 tons rations and 20,000 family packs (25 kg rice, 10 kg flour,5 kg pulses, 5 kg cooking oil, 1 kg tea, 5 kg sugar ,1 kg dry milk, spices, clothes and shoes in each packet) to Quetta. -ispr
