Minister for Sports Engr Shaukat Ullah said on Saturday that Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) will be made un-functional and another body will be made which will deal with all affairs of the ministry and PSB.
“This body will see all the sports federations and sports ministry affairs,” the minister told APP.
The minister said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government has taken steps for the devolution of sports ministry to the provinces.
He said sports will be encouraged in the provinces and players will come up from the provinces at the national and international level.
He was of the view that all provinces should promote sports using all possible means. – app
