In a situation that seemed uncontrollable, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan stepped in and dismissed all the disciplinary calls and actions initiated by the committee against Younus. Later, the Chairman called Younus Khan and convinced him in a very cool and overwhelming manner. Later, Younus announced that he has been granted permission to play in Pakistan Cup.
