Public rallies banned on 19 main roads

DCO LahoreLAHORE: Lahore District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ahad Khan Cheema has banned holding of public rallies, setting up of stalls, use of loudspeakers and music on 19 important roads of the city. 

According to a notification issued on Wednesday, the roads included Sharah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Ferozepur Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Lower Mall, Ravi Road, Multan Road, GT Road, Ring Road, PECO Road, Maulana Shaukat Ali Road, Bund Road, Sheikhupura Road, Shalimar Link Road, Circular Road, Raiwind Road, Davis Road, Shimla Pahari and Allama Iqbal Road. The ban aims at maintaining a smooth flow of traffic in the city. – Dailytimes
