ISLAMABAD: The Drug Pricing Policy and Petroleum Products Pricing Formula to be presented before the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet for approval.The ECC will meet under the presiding of the Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue and conomic Affairs Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh here on Friday (today).Reliable sources told SANA that the ECC will consider the summary, presented by the Health Division regarding the Drug Pricing Policy and it is expected the committee will approve it.They said that the ECC will also review the Gas Load Management for winter season and took some important decisions in this regard as the demand of the natural gas surged during the winter season and the nation face shortage of gas during the period.
“On the summary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, the ECC will review of the Petroleum Products Pricing Formula and took decisions in this regard”, the sources said.They said the ECC will consider for financial support for the Bank of Khyber under Credit Guarantee Scheme for Small Banks on the summary of the Ministry of Finance and it is expected that the committee will approve financial support for the bank.The ECC will also consider a summary about 1100 Mega Watt Kohala Hydro power Project.The sources said the ECC will also consider the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Division’s summary regarding the export of surplus wheat – Sananews
