The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), through a notification issued on Sunday, announced another hefty cut in prices of petroleum products. The new rates will be effective for the month of December.
According to the notification, price of petrol has been reduced by Rs.9.66 to Rs.84.53/litre; that of high speed diesel by Rs.7.12; High Octane by Rs 0.61 and that of Kerosene oil by Rs 4.34.

The government has made an unprecedented reduction of Rs 19 in petrol prices in two successive months of November and December, bringing prices to the lowest level in five years. – Samaa
