Three-day conference on dengue control ends

World Health OrgLAHORE: An international conference on ‘Dengue and Its Control’, a joint venture of the Punjab government and World Health Organisation, concluded at a local hotel on Wednesday. 
International and national medical experts came up with several new strategies and suggestions for eradication of dengue.The experts shared their work and experiences with each other in order to come up with concrete recommendations for the control and prevention of dengue, said Health Assistant to CM Khawaja Salman Rafique.He also appreciated the effort made by WHO regarding dengue control and added that the conference was a timely activity to bring each aspect of dengue control under discussion. WHO representative Dr Guido Sabatinelli said that the conference was organised to put to use the experience of international experts in controlling dengue in Pakistan. – Dailytimes
