Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Three ships arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday July 23, carrying diesel oil at FOTCO, Acetic Acid at EVTL & one for loading cement at M/W.Berth occupancy was maintained at 57 percent at the Port where a total of eight ships namely M.V Nelson, M.V. Wales-II, M.V Saudi Abah, M.V Msc Magali, M.T.Theresa Gemini, M.T Pacific Energy, M.T AL-Salam-II, M.T Pramesti are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil, diesel oil and acetic acid during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 74322 tonnes comprising 66257 tonnes imports and 8065 tonnes exports, was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.M.V Msc Magali, M.V Saudi Abha, M.T Pacific Energy sailed on Saturday morning, M.T Pramesti sailed on Sunday morning.M.V Maersk Missouri at QICT, M.T Olympic Sponsor at FOTCO, M.T Dongbu Promy at EVTL, M.T Dl. Aster at LCT are expected to take berth on Sunday July 24. – Brecorder
