QUETTA: Balochistan Transport Action Committee General Secretary Bashir Ahmed Khilji welcomed Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani’s visit and federal cabinet meeting in Balochistan and said it would cast a positive impact on overall development of Balochistan In a statement here on Tuesday, he hoped the Federal Government would ensure speedy development of the province in order to remove prevailing sense of deprivation among the people.He hoped the federal government would ensure maximum opportunities to youth from the province and completion of all ongoing road projects which is a longstanding demand of the province.
Meanwhile, social worker Haji Ghulam Hussain termed meeting of federal cabinet in the province a good omen and said it would prove helpful bring stability to the province.He said the federal cabinet should announce a special development package for the province in view of its widespread backwardness in every field of life.He urged for devising an effective strategy to combat increasing crime rate in the society. – APP
