ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party (ANP) Leader Haji Adeel Thursday strongly condemned the role Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Balochistan, saying that it created many problems in the province.Speaking to a seminar here, Haji Adeel said that people of a certain province could not establish themselves if their resources were captured by the external powers. He highlighted that all credit went to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and its coalition partners which not only started the consistent movement for the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan and approved it from the Parliament. He said such movement was considered as rebellion in Pakistan politics while present government has changed this ideology.Meanwhile, ANP leader Dr. Ishaq Baloch said Lahore Resolution declared that the Self-Autonomy would be given to the states or Provinces of the newly established Country, but the declaration took sixty-three years to be implemented. He praised the eighteenth amendment as the major landmark for Balochistan and demanded to implement it in its true sense.

Moreover, Member National Assembly Ayatullah Durrani said that those ethnic groups who are not Baloch by race but living in the province would be treated as per government’s policy, no matter they are Punjabi, Pukhtoon or belong to any other race or language, he added. He said that Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan as part of the eighteenth amendment was the first step to hand over the rights to the Balochi people.Action Aid worker Uzma said that health issues of women and children were also important for better future of Balochistan. – Onlinenews
