Balochistan govt bans pillion riding

QUETTA: Balochistan government has clamped Section 144 Cr PC, banning unauthorised assembly of people and also prohibiting pillion riding throughout the province, with an immediate effect on Monday. The Provincial Home Department was of the view that due to the increasing number of bomb blasts and target killings; the government of Balochistan has decided to place a ban on pillion riding and also on protest rallies or unauthorised gathering of people. The main purpose, according to security officials, is to check incident of target killing and terrorist attacks by subversive elements using the facility of pillion riding. – Dailytimes
