President approves ICT civil, sessions courts ministerial establishment rules 2011

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of Prime Minister on Tuesday approved the Islamabad Capital Territory Civil and Sessions Courts Ministerial Establishment Rules 2011 in terms of Section 25 of Civil Servant Act, 1973. According to details, Islamabad High Court was established in 2010 vide Act No. XVII of 2010. According to its section 8, all laws which were in force immediately before the commencement of this Act applicable to the Sindh High Court or any Court sub-ordinate to it with respect to practice and procedure were adopted by Islamabad High Court.Now, in terms of Section 25 of Civil Servant Act 1973,Islamabad High Court has framed its own rules to be called “The Islamabad Capital Territory Civil and Sessions Courts Ministerial Establishment Service Rules 2011” after the approval of the President.They shall apply to all persons borne on the ministerial establishment of the Capital Territory Civil and Sessions Court. – APP
