PM felicitates Hameed Haroon, Sarmad Ali on their re-election

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has congratulated Hameed Haroon and Sarmad Ali on their re-election as President and General Secretary and other office bearers in the elections of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) on Thursday. The Prime Minister in his message of felicitations said that the re-election of the President and General Secretary of the APNS shows the confidence of the members on their able leadership.He hoped that they would work even harder for the welfare of the community.The Prime Minister also reiterated Government’s support in upholding the freedom of expression in the country. He expressed the confidence that media-government relations would further flourish in the coming days and they would join hands for the overall development and progress of the country. – APP
