10 Pakistani companies to participate in Birmingham’s Spring Fair 2011

LONDON:Ten leading Pakistani business houses are participating in the “Spring Fair International 2011” being organised in Birmingham from February 6 to 10. Pakistan High Commission along with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has organised participation of Pakistani exporters at the trade exhibition. After successful participation at these fairs in 2009 and 2010, this is the third time in a row that Pakistan is taking part in this grand event held annually in the UK’s second largest city.Spring Fair International is UK’s largest trading fair and every year thousands of visitors, buyers and exhibitors from around the world attend this event.
World’s leading brands and major UK players including Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Marks & Spencer, Next, Selfridges, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Debenhams and many more target a phenomenal database of visitors worldwide and book a substantial bulk of their orders through this fair.Apart from many other products being exhibited, the main highlights are the Arts, Furniture & Lighting, Home Furnishings, Textiles & Interior Accessories, Jewellery, Leather Gifts, Luggage, Handbags and Umbrellas, Gifts & Toys and Housewares. Spring Fair 2011 is expected to have new inspiring feature areas throughout the show and around 300,000 new product launches.According to Saira Najeeb, Commercial Secretary, at the High Commission, Pakistan will be primarily focusing on the promotion of jewellery, textiles, leather, rock salt, handicrafts and marble sectors on the keen interest shown by the exporters of these products to participate in the event.“There will be around 10 stalls of Pakistan, displaying the exclusive collection of our exporters – APP
