Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: A ship carrying containers was allotted berth at Qasim International Container Terminal Monday. Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, rice and chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours. Berth occupancy was maintained at the Port at 62 percent Monday where a total of eight ships are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, sugar, palm oil and crude oil respectively during last 24 hours – Dailytimes
