LAHORE: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is striving hard to speed up issuance of computerised national identification cards under the corruption-free system of the ‘Regional Complaints Cell’ and the open courts made by the NADRA Punjab Lahore Region, according to a press release issued on Monday.According to the release, NADRA was working determinedly to eliminate corruption and to make the government’s anti-corruption campaign successful.The release said that during November 29, 2010 to January 15, 2011, NADRA Punjab Lahore Region Compliant Cell received 1,069 public complaints, out of which 60 percent were solved immediately. 1,456 public complaints that were heard in the open courts on a daily basis were immediately solved at the centres’ level, the release stated.It further said that NADRA had been acting upon the principle of serving common man by immediately solving the peoples’ just problems and complaints – Dailytimes
