Alhamra Dy Director caught taking bribe

LAHORE:Anti-Corruption Establishment has arrested Deputy Director Alhamra Arts Council Lahore Zulfiqar Zulfi red-handed while taking bribe to give early date of booking of a stage drama out of schedule on Monday.As per details, Haji Muhammad Siddique lodged an application to Anti-Corruption authorities that Zulfiqar Zulfi, Deputy Director Programme Al-Hamra Arts Council was demanding heavy amount for giving him early date of booking of his stage drama out of schedule.Anti-Corruption authorities made a plan to arrest Zulfiqar Zulfi red-handed and Circle Officer ACE Lahore Umar Farooq Baloch conducted a trap raid under the supervision of Magistrate Hussnain Khalid at Davis Road.The raid was conducted at the time when Zulfiqar Zulfi was receiving Rs 20,000 from Haji Muhammad Siddique, the complainant, while sitting in a car on the road-side.The raiding party recovered the amount of gratification, registered a case against Zulfiqar Zulfi and arrested him and later sent him to lock-up for further interrogation – Nation
