LAHORE:Punjab government has done a great injustice to the people of South Punjab by shifting Neuro Sciences project to provincial metropolis from South Punjab, says Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, senior leader of PML-Q.He expressed these views while talking to the media on Wednesday after condoling with the family of former provincial secretary, Jarullah Rizvi on the sad demise of ex-bureaucrat at his residence. He said PML-Q’s government had initiated the project of Institute of Neuro Sciences in South Punjab keeping in view their deprivations in the past years, however, PML-N led government shifted the project to Lahore.Senior PML-Q leader said Punjab Chief Minister instead of suspending the authorities concerned for failing to contain the dengue virus should resign, as he was holding the office of provincial health minister.Criticising the provincial government for not appointing ministers for 14 departments, he said the Punjab government should give an advertisement stating that these ministers were ‘missing’.Chaudhary Pervaiz said his party had pointed out provincial task forces would become financial burden at the time of their formation but the provincial chief executive took PML-Q’s advice on deaf ears.He claimed that billions of rupees of public money were misused by the provincial government for establishing the task forces – Nation
