SBP to observe six-day working week from 27th

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan and all offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation will observe six-day working week with effect from Saturday, November 27, 2010 in compliance with Federal Government’s decision to discontinue five-day working week. Sunday will be observed as closed day, said SBP release issued on Thursday.The SBP Banking Services Corporation will observe the following office timings with effect from Nov 27, 2010: From Monday to Thursday, offices of SBP and its Banking Services Corporation will remain opened from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm while for Friday and Saturday, the office timings will start from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and 9.00 am to 1.30 pm respectively. Moreover, the SBP Banking Services Corporation will observe the following business hours from November 27, 2010. From Monday to Thursday, business hours will start from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm and from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm – Nation
