PESHAWAR : Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif advised the government not to trample all principles for the sake politics.Talking to media here at the residence of PML-N leader Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on Wednesday, the PML-N chief said the government should be more committed to the country and democracy, adding ethics comes first and politics follows. He said, ‘We all respect the freedom of the Supreme Court (SC). The government better corrects itself and capitulates to the verdicts of the court.’

Nawaz Sharif said his party will not allow the institutions to clash one another, adding it grieves to see corruption on the rise and rampage in Pakistan.Reacting to a query, the N-League leader remarked the Prime Minister needed to make prudent decisions and should have more commitment with the country than with the party. If foreign money pours in only to be stolen here, then who will give his money for the second time, Nawaz Sharif observed adding the nations are ruined under one-man rule (autocracy).

He further stressed various problems including load shedding, missing persons, and restiveness in Balochistan, terrorism and overall deteriorating conditions in the country are the gifts of former President Gen (rtd) Pervez Musharraf.‘We don’t want the time to come when decisions are made on roads and streets,’ he said adding price hike burgeoned thanks to the government measures and Pakistan progressed in corruption. He further stressed the price hike could be stemmed if corruption in certain institutions is tamped down.‘We will not be impacted by any meeting between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) – Sananews
