ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday strongly condemned the blast at the shrine of Hazrat Baba Farid Ganj Shakar and expressed shock and grief over the loss of lives and injuries. In separate messages the President and the Prime Minister said the act has been carried by elements who wish to create unrest and demoralise the people, but said they would not succeed in their nefarious designs.The leaders said the perpetrators of the blast outside the shrine would not escape the law of the land and directed the law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter and submit a report.The President and Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and prayed to Allah Almighty to shower his blessings on those who lost lives.
