Police arrest 7 Lashkar-e-Jhangvi men in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: Police have claimed to arrest seven terrorists, belonging to Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, allegedly planning to assassinate Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, from Ahmedpur East, Bahawalpur.Seven men arrested from Moza Chakwahni are members of Qari Imran Group of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, RPO Syed Muhammad Qadri told media.He said the terrorists revealed that they were planning to murder the PM, FM, besides hitting PM House, Multan, Ghazi Ghat Pul, Taunsa Barrage, Cantt area, Dera Nawab and other key places.The held alleged terrorists included Abdul Raheem alias Talha, Muhammad Afzal, Hafiz Salman alias Amjad, Sajjad Ahmed, Muhammad Saleem, Bilal and Mufti Munawwar Hussain – Sananews
