NA Sports body wants Ijaz Butt resigned today

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly’s standing committee for sports Chairman Iqbal Muhammad Ali called upon Ijaz Butt, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, to resign for having a controversial stint with the Board.Talking to media, he warned all the members of the committee would resign if resignation was not taken from Butt till today (Tuesday) by 2:00 pm.He alleged that Butt due to his mismanagement pushed cricket to the verge of total destruction.He said many letters were written to President Zardari in this regard.Iqbal maintained that Ijaz Butt issued irresponsible statements during spot-fixing scam of the cricket team in England – Sananews
