Umar Gul ties the knot

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s Twenty20 specialist fast bowler, Umar Gul, started new innings of his life in Peshawar on Saturday when he tied the knot with a lady doctor from the valley of Swat.Despite of having lots of female fans from around the globe, the marriage was arranged by parents of Umar Gul.While talking with the state media at the occasion of his marriage ceremony, Umar Gul said that he was satisfied with the way things were and have full faith in choice of his parents.He said marriage was commitment and a part of Islamic way of life and that it was better to have all the joys of life at home rather than running around for temporary fun.Gul looked excited at his marriage ceremony as his parents told The Sports Encounter scribe that Gul’s wife resides in Dubai and her father, Naqshband is an engineer and settled in the Gulf state. Gul’s wife has recently passed her MBBS from Ayub Medical College of Abbottabad.
