WASHINGTON, Sept 29 (APP): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Wednesday asked the United States to grant preferrential trade access to Pakistani products as the country urgently needs to impart a new momentum to its economy in view of flooding disaster which has severely hit the agricultural growth. “Pakistan is looking for greater market access to the United States — keeping in view the flooding situation a fresh look is needed for progress on Reconstruction Opportunity Zones,” he said. Qureshi was speaking at a US Chamber of Commerce’s Business Civic Leadership Center event, which highlighted ways to assist Pakistan’s massive flood recovery. Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Husain Haqqani also attended the event.
