ISLAMABAD, (APP): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is not carrying out any investigation into match fixing scam, as the agency has a limited mandate.An official of the Agency said here on Tuesday that the government has not ordered the agency to conduct any inquiry into the scam.Referring to a news item published in a section of press, the official said that the agency is not carrying out any probe into scam and the news item is concocted and contrary to the facts.
He said the agency will be interacting with the Scotland Yard police as a routine cooperation and coordination in such like police matters. – App
