World Music Day celebrated at Peeru’s Cafe

LAHORE: Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop and Alliance Francaise De Lahore celebrated the World Music Day at Peeru’s Café on Tuesday evening.Singers including Sain Zahoor, Ustab Hussain Baksh Gullo, Sooraj and Chand, Sain Shaukat, Mian Miri Qawwals and members of Taka Tuk band participated in the event. The music played during the occasion was a representation of the country’s cultural music, which was highly lauded by the guests. The audience also enjoyed the classical songs sung by the participants, and said that that music with strong lyrics and good tune always appealed to the listeners and left an impression on their hearts. – Dailytimes
