Pedestrian bridge collapse in Mexico City kills 2

MEXICO CITY: A pedestrian bridge has collapsed on an expressway in a Mexico City suburb, killing two people. Officials say a third victim lost both legs.Investigators are trying to determine what caused the footbridge to fall during Monday’s evening rush hour. Authorities describe it only as “an old structure.”Officials say they have recovered the bodies of a woman and a young man who appear to have been walking on the bridge over the Periferico expressway that passes through Mexico’s capital and some of its suburbs.Pieces of debris also damaged at least one police car driving on the road. – Yahoonews
