BEIJING, Sept 29 (APP): Pakistan’s treasure of culture heritage was presented for the first time at the Peking University Cultural Festival here on Wednesday. At a day-long festival held at the Chinese prestigious higher learning institution traditional dresses, handicrafts, photographs of Gandhara, many art items and photographs of prominent tourist spots were source of attraction for the visitors, said a Pakistan student Kulsoom who is doing her Master in Public Policy at the Peking University and represented her country.
Talking to APP, Kulsoom said that she came here on a one year scholarship awarded to her by the Chinese government. This is for the first time, Kulsoom said that Pakistan has participated in such a festival for the first time and got very positive response from the visitors.
