The ‘Mad Men’ actress was recently named as the new face of the Italian fashion house and designer Donatella is a huge fan as she thinks she represents females of the 21st century. She said: “I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde.and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the 21st century. She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too.”

January – who is known for her curvy figure – will appear in new spring-summer 2011 ad campaign wearing nothing more than the brand’s accessories, bags, shoes, sunglasses and optical frames, in shots taken by legendary photographer Mario Testino.
As well as being signed for Versace, January has become a huge hit in the fashion world since taking on the role of Betty Draper in ‘Mad Men’ and recently spoke out about how proud she is to be involved in a show that celebrates curvy women.
She said: “I think what’s great about the show is that, just in terms of fashion, it has helped bring a certain silhouette back. That womanly, cinched waist… I mean, a year before ‘Mad Men’ came out, everything was very boxy and sort of shapeless.
“Now, as much as I hate getting into my girdle every day for the show, it’s brought that beautiful line back. You think of a lady when you see it. It’s kind of refreshing. You don’t have to give up your femininity to be a powerful woman.” – FemaleFirst
