Asian stock markets closed mixed Tuesday.Tokyo’s Nikkei index rose 1.47 percent , to close at 9,519.Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index edged up slightly , to end at 22,639.
Elsewhere, share prices were higher in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta. Stocks closed lower in Taipei, Seoul, Sydney, Mumbai, Wellington and Manila.
