“Hate was spread by dividing the people – today oppressors are united while the people stand divided… I am here to unite Mohajirs, Punjabis, Seraikis, Baloch, Pakhtuns and others on one platform,” he told a zealous crowd.
At the mammoth rally, his message for Sindhis was simple and clear – embrace Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and get rid of feudalism as “you have been cheated for long in the name of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto”. Asking his charged supporters to promise that they would never bow down to cruelty, the PTI chairman maintained that his movement would continue until the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. “It is our fundamental right that we elect our leaders by ballot,” Khan said, adding that all the elections except that of 1970 were heavily rigged. “For years people have been denied their fundamental right to chose their leaders through vote, we will make Naya Pakistan we all have dreamed about.”
Khan said that time would come when people across the world will make queues outside Pakistani embassies to get visa for Pakistan. PTI would empower the youth to turn Pakistan into a thriving country, he said. He pledged that PTI, after coming into power, would held accountable the rulers who have been looting the national exchequers to build their own empires. “Now there is law of jungle, we will enforce the real law.” He said PTI will also bring in the best local bodies system in Pakistan where no one will be a slave. PTI chairman, chanting slogan ‘Go Nawaz GO’, said that since 30 years Nawaz Sharif has been taking turns to run the country while Sharif and Bhutto families had doubled their personal assets during their successive governments. No one including USA and Saudi Arabia can save Nawaz Sharif now, he roared. “PTI will end dynastic politics in the county, my sons will never come in politics,” [contentblock id=2 img=adsense.png]
Imran Khan said, adding that PTI is not a party of wealthy people of feudalists. Lashing out JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman for giving abusive remarks against female supporter of the party, Imran Khan said, “Neither I nor Pakistani women will forgive Maulana Fazlur Rehman.” Outlining his priorities, he said his party would focus on education, law and order, and justice. He said PTI would bring a big increase in salaries of teachers and professors and they would be taken on board to bring change in the education system of the country. He informed that PTI led provincial government of KPK has allocated a huge amount for education. Talking about the police department, Imran Khan stressed upon the need for the depoliticising police, saying they have taken corrective measures in KP and his party would also expel Gullu Butts from the Punjab police after coming into power. Karachi will witness peace in PTI rule as it will depoliticise police and end different mafias operating in the mega city.
Addressing the gathering PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Imran’s 18 years struggle has awakened the nation. “Today the protest against the corrupt system has entered in its 40th day.” Terming the awakening of Karachiites awakening of Pakistan, he said departure of current rulers was not far. Qureshi said Javed Hashmi has stabbed Imran in the back. “Baghi is Daghi (blotted) who sat in the lap of Nawaz Sharif,” he alleged. He asked PML-N led federal cabinet members to notice the massive gathering of the people.

Criticising PPP, of which he once was a central leader, he said Asif Zardari was running the party along with property dealers. He called on the people of Sindh to decide about their future, adding that PPP has become a party of Zardari and zar (wealth). AML chief Sheikh Rashid said about 3,700 doctors and engineers left Karachi because of poor security situation.
Imran is here to eliminate ‘Bhatta Mafia’. He said Nawaz was responsible for worsening economic situation of the country and he should step down. Praising passion of Karachiites for change, he said the rulers not listening to the people would be made to leave by force. Former Pakistani cricketer Javaid Miandad and Mohsin Hassan Khan were also present to express solidarity with their old friend Imran Khan. Mohsin told media that Imran was out to turn the country into Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan. He said Karachiites have always sided with the truth. -nation
