Three candidates, Javed Hashmi, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema and Saleh Nazir, were in run for the post of central president in the PTI’s intra-party election.
The election committee announced the result of the election on late Thursday night. According to election committee, Javed Hashmi was elected central president by securing 177 votes while Umar Sarfaraz Cheema got 24 votes and Saleh Nazir secured two votes.
Inam Ullah Niazi was elected as senior vice-president while Naz Baloch was elected vice-president. – Dunyanews
