QUETTA: Six outlaws were killed in retaliation by Balochistan Frontier Corps in Balgudar area of Turbat district Wednesday late night.
A spokesman to FC here Thursday said a group of outlaws ambushed an FC convoy proceeding to Panjgoar from Turbat with sophisticated weapons leaving two FC personnel injured. Six assailants were killed as the FC troops retaliated. A number of their accomplices managed to escape in cover of darkness leaving behind huge cache of heavy arms including rocket launchers, Kalashnikovs and rounds.
The injured FC personnel had been shifted to hospital.Meanwhile, IG FC Major General Obaidullah Khattak lauded the FC effective retaliation and vowed that the force would continue efforts to restore complete peace to the province. – Thenews
