Nawaz questions credibility of present democrac

LAHORE: President of Pakistan Muslim League-N Mian Nawaz Sharif has reiterated his pledge that after coming to power, his party will end the multiple challenges confronting the country today.He was addressing a public meeting in connection with the Independence Day at the famous Hazoori Bagh here on Sunday. Senior party leadership including Javed Hashmi, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and others were also present on the occasion.

Hitting the present rulers hard, the PML-N president said they posed serious threat to the future of the country. “In the presence of the present leadership of the country, it is all but a dream to steer the country towards the safer shores,” said Mian Nawaz Sharif. Questioning the credibility of the present day ‘democracy’ Mian Nawaz Sharif said this democracy has given Pakistan nothing but humiliation and bad name in the world. He asked if it was the democracy for which he and his party gave sacrifices.

Nawaz said Pakistan was not made for the purpose that the world should have an underdeveloped, poor and deprived country. Today everybody feel pain, when he looks towards Pakistan. Each and every citizen would have to think about the future of Pakistan.He said that PML(N) has tendered lot of sacrifices for the democracy. It lodged protest against Pervez Musharraf but the sitting rulers are following the foot steps of dictator. Government gave nothing to the people but disappointment.

He said that in 2008 PML(N) took oath to restore judiciary and fulfilled it . On the occasion he administrated oath from the people that they would sacrifice each and every belonging for the prosperity of Pakistan.He said if 180 million people would endeavor with utmost sincerity and faith , then the country could become invulnerable . “We can together put the Pakistan on the way of progress and break the begging bowl”, Sharif added. – Onlinenews
