Punjab IGP transfers 47 ASPs, DSPs to police HQs

LAHORE: In pursuance of decision passed by the Supreme Court, Punjab Police Inspector General, Javed Iqbal, has issued notification of 47 ASPs and DSPs who were working against the posts of superintendents of police (SP) (in their own pay & scales), transferring them to the Punjab Police Headquarters with immediate effect.According to an official handout issued on Tuesday, Sadiq Ali, Lt Cdr Muhammad Hilal, Mian Saeed Ahmad, Muhammad Pervaiz Iqbal, Raja Basharat Mahmood, Masroor Ahmad Rana, Karamat Ullah Malik, Muhammad Tahir Maqsood, Qayyum Nawaz Qaisrani, Sultan Mahmood, Naeemul Hassan, Ejaz Shafi, Rana Javed Iqbal, Awais Malik, Irfan Ullah, Javed Akhtar, Amir Taimur, Hanif Ahmad, Fahmida Yasmeen, Jamat Ali Bokhari, Muhammad Iqbal Zafar, Tariq Mahmood, Ishtiaq Hussain Shah, Haseeb Hussain, Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Ilyas, Muhammad Asif Ansari, Rai Zamirul Haq, Imtiaz Sarwar, Akhtar Ali Khan, Saif Ullah Khan, Adbul Ghaffar, Multan Khan, Mehr Rab Nawaz, Javed Iqbal Nadir, Shah Nawaz, Muhammad Iqbal, Ghulam Shabbir, Rana Muhamamd Azeem, Mumtaz Ahmad, Muhammad Iftikhar, Rashid Ahmad, Khalid Pervaiz, Altaf Ahmad Gondal, Faisal Gulzar, Zulfiqar Ali and Majeed Muhammad Rana were the officers who are supposed to report in the Punjab Police Headquarters. Similarly, Punjab police inspector general has issued transfer orders of two police officers.According to details, Special Branch Senior Superintendent of Police, Fayyaz Ahmed Dev has been transferred and posted as personal staff officer to Punjab Police inspector general against an existing vacancy while SP Muhammad Zariat Kiani is transferred and posted as Special Branch Superintendent of Police against an existing vacancy with immediate effect – Dailymailnews
