DOHA: South Korea advanced to the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup on Tuesday, beating India 4-1 after two goals from Ji Dong-won to finish second in Group C.South Korea finished on seven points, as did Australia, which beat Bahrain 1-0 to win the group on goal difference.South Korea scored twice within the first nine minutes, Ji finding the net in the sixth and Koo Ja-cheol doubling the lead three minutes later.India pulled one back through Sunil Chhetri’s penalty in the 12th, before Ji restored South Korea’s two-goal cushion in the 23rd.Substitute Son Heung-min scored in the 81st after South Korea had wasted a host of chances in the second half.
