PESHAWAR: A two-day international seminar on “Regional Perceptions on Afghanistan’s Imbroglio” will be held from today (Tuesday) at Area Study Centre, University of Peshawar. Renowned scholars, journalists and personalities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia will attend the seminar.
A statement issued here on Monday said the first session of the conference would be chaired by Dr Mohammad Anwar, former director Area Study Centre and former vice chancellor UoP while the chief guest of the first day would be Prof Dr Azmat Hayat Khan, vice chancellor of the UoP.
Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan Usman Aibek will chair the second session on the first day while Hasheem Ashjazadeh, acting consul general at the consulate of Islamic Republic of Iran would be chairing the 3rd session of the inaugural day, Bureau Report – Dawn
