GUJRANWALA: The regional police officer (RPO) has directed all district police officers to ensure installation of CCTV cameras in all bank branches, ATM machines, trade centres and shops in their jurisdiction while law pertaining to security of shops and business establishments be implemented strictly.
Speaking at a meeting in his office here on Monday, RPO Tariq Masood Yasin said that monetary institutions and traders should deploy private security guards on their premises to prevent robberies.
PROTEST: Commuters have protested a two-day closure of CNG stations, demanding that the closure must not be more than a day in a week owing to unavailability of pubic transport vehicles.
