ISLAMABAD: Saudi Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Faisal on Wednesday wrote a letter to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry revealing Pakistan’s religious ministry huge corruption in provision of residences to the Hujjaj at Makkah.According to media reports Saudi Prince addressed the CJP divulging that the Pakistani Hujjaj Committee rejected the Saudi offer pertaining to the residences for the 35,000 pilgrims for 3,350 riyals which was just 2 kilometers away from Haram and committed for the lodgings costing 3,400 to 3,600 riyals instead of 1500 riyals which is the rate set for lodging 3 km away from Haram. The Saudi prince said that he has solid proof to back his claim and if the apex court summons him than he is ready to appear before the court himself. He appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate action against the injustice committed with the Pakistani Hajj Pilgrims, who have come to perform their religious duty with their hard earned money. After receiving the letter CJP taking Suo moto notice has directed the ministry of religious affairs and concerned authorities to file a reply in this respect within 15 days – Onlinenews
