ISLAMABAD: Defending champions Pakistan WAPDA retained their National Women’s Basketball Championship title with a comfortable 51-31 victory over Higher Education Commission in the final at the Sports Hall of the Bahria University here on Tuesday.
The third place playoff of the 16th edition was played at the Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex earlier in the day with Islamabad beating Punjab 24-23. Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBF) president Asif Bajwa was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
