LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation on Wednesday announced the tour programme of national senior team to Europe in June and July this year. The programme will start with the participation of the team in UCD 4-Nation Hockey Tournament to be played in University College Dublin/Ireland from June 20-25, said a spokesman of PHF here. Following is the programme of matches:June 20, Pak vs France, China vs Ireland June22, China vs Pakistan, France vs Ireland June 24, France vs China, Pakistan vs Ireland June 25, 3rd and 4th place match and the final. The team will depart for Ireland on June 16.
It will follow the team’s participation in four-Nation Rabo Hockey Tournament to be played in Amstelveen/Netherlands from June 28-July 2.The programme of the event is,June 28, Germany vs England, Pakistan vs Holland June 29, England vs Pakistan, Holland vs Germany July 1, Germany vs Pakistan, England vs Holland.
July 2, 3rd in Pool vs 4th in Pool, 1st in pool vs 2nd in pool According to FIH World Rankings Germany is number 2, Netherlands number 3, England number 4 and Pakistan number 8. “ PHF will establish the training camp of its national senior team in Amsterdam from july 3-17”,he said.
