Suspended off-spinner Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action will be unofficially tested at an ICC-accredited laboratory in England on Monday.
Ajmal will leave for England on Saturday and will go through testing on his remodeled action at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough University, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said.
The International Cricket Council suspended Saeed Ajmal in September after none of his deliveries during eight overs of biomechanical testing in Australia came close to meeting the required regulation of 15-degree elbow extension. Former test off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq has assisted Ajmal in fixing his action. -dawn
