Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Thursday arrived in Islamabad on two-days official visit. During his visit the Iranian foreign minister will hold meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Javad Zarif will also hold meetings with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser. This is the first visit of any foreign minister to Pakistan after the formation of new government.

On the other hand, Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kazuyuki Nakane will also arrive in Islamabad today for a two-day visit where he will meet with Qureshi and other government officials. He will also attend the signing ceremony of the development projects in collaboration with Japan.
