The first girl child born under the Prime Minister’s National Health Programme was named Maryam by her parents Sunday.

The parents were so pleased to have the baby girl brought to the world in professional care and in a proper hospital, without spending a penny, that they named her after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Tariq Fazal Chaudhry visited the Rawal Hospital and presented a bouquet and gifts from the Prime Minister to the happy couple.
