The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has issued notifications for decrease in power tariff for June and July under the fuel adjustment formula.

According to the notifications, the tariff was reduced by Rs2.13 kWh for July and Rs2.19 kWh for June.
The decrease will be applicable to all consumer categories except lifeline consumers, domestic consumers using up to 300 units and agriculture consumers of all distribution companies (Discos).

The adjustment shall be shown separately in the bills on the basis of units billed to consumers in July and June 2015 by Discos, the notification said. Discos shall reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of July 2015 in the billing month of October.
