Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Thursday offered to provide manpower to Bahrain to meet its requirements.

In a meeting with Bahrain’s Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan here, the Prime Minister said that Bahrain was one of the most favourite destinations for Pakistanis working abroad.
He regarded the presence of 100,000 Pakistanis living in Bahrain as a manifestation of the long fraternal ties between the two countries. The Prime Minister invited Bahrain’s Labour Minister to visit Pakistan along with experts and familiarize with what Pakistan had to offer. Special Assistants to PM Tariq Fatemi and Capt. (R) Shujaat Azim, Ambassador at Large, Javed Malik and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Muhammad Saeed Khan were also present in the meeting.

Investment in energy sector
In a meeting with Bahrain’s Energy Minister Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza here, the Prime Minister invited him to bring a delegation to Pakistan and explore possibilities of joint ventures in the energy sector. He said that Pakistan was an attractive destination for foreign investors because of its liberal policy and high rate of return.

Chief Executive of Nogaholding company, Mohammad K. Al-Khalifa also attended the meeting along with senior officials of the company. The company is an investment and business development arm of National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) of Bahrain and plays a key role in the implementation of NOGA strategies. – APP
