Rejecting the claims of the government about the quick conclusion of the Azadi march, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that one million marchers would launch a final round on August 14 against the rulers from the provincial capital and would not leave Islamabad until a real change takes place.

He expressed these views while addressing the party workers and leaders in the provincial capital on Thursday. He said: “Azadi march will be final round to get justice and PTI marchers will not leave the federal capital till a real change takes place. No real change will take place until the masses come on the roads. They should take to the streets regardless of their political liking or disliking if they want to change the system to live an honourable life.”  The PTI chairman said: “I will unveil the complete details of the 2013 polls rigging and unmask the planners and executers of the crime who assisted the incumbent rulers in stealing the 2013 election results.”

He added: “I have already withdrawn my demand for recount of only four constituencies and sought the audit of the entire election process of 2013.” The PTI chief said: Imran Khan “We should not expect change from the parliamentarians who grabbed power by stealing the people’s mandate. We should also not pin hopes on the rulers that they will be able to overcome the energy crisis in the country.”  He said the days of those who had stolen the people’s mandate and were plundering the country were numbered and August 14 would prove to be their judgment day.

Meanwhile, the PTI Punjab chapter has decided to stage protest demonstrations in all the districts of the province against unprecedented loadshedding today (Friday).  The decision was taken at the PTI Punjab’s executive committee meeting held with its provincial president, Ijaz Chaudhry, in the chair.  The meeting also decided to hold Azadi march workers’ conventions in all the districts of the province from August 1 to August 11. -nation
