A special Eid package was dispatched for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency by army’s Rawalpindi Corps here on Monday.
According to the ISPR, 32 trucks carrying 220 tons of ration that included flour, rice, sugar, lentils, cooking oil, dry milk and tea, were dispatched from the Race Course Ground for the IDPs of North Waziristan Agency.
The ration was donated by the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi at the collection points established by the Pakistan Army. It is worth mentioning that it was the second consignment dispatched by the Rawalpindi Corps for the IDPs. A total of 440 tons of ration has been dispatched by the Rawalpindi Corps so far. -thenews
