RAWALPINDI: The process of appointments and transfers of high ranking Army officers is continued as 11 major generals have been awarded with new responsibilities on Friday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the information wing of the Army, Major General Taqueer has been appointed as Director General Budget and Major General Hilal as Director General MT.Meanwhile, Major General Furruk Rashid has been appointed as Director General FMC, Major General Tariq Ghafoor as GOC of 14-Division, Major General Hadayat has been appointed in CIB Division National Defence University, Major General Javed Bukhari as GOC 8-Division, Major General Jaffar as Commandant SI&T, Major General Khan Tahir as DG, PRPB, Major General Hamayun Saleem as GOC, SFN, Major General Ajmal as Deputy ENC and Major General Afzal has been appointed as DG, FWO.A spokesman of the ISPR said the appointments were not unusual and a part routine process. – DailyMail
